Why isn’t the Economic Wellbeing Explorer dashboard loading properly?
Reasons why the dashboard might be loading slowly or you're receiving an error message.
If the dashboard isn’t loading or you’re seeing an error message, there are a few common reasons:
1) Check your internet connection
- Make sure you have a stable connection.
- Refresh the page to see if this resolves the issue.
2) VPN or firewall
- VPNs and some corporate networks can block parts of the platform.
- If you’re using a VPN, try disconnecting and reloading the dashboard.
- If you’re on a secure network, ask your IT team to allow access to:
- smartdatafoundry.com
- dashboard.services.smartdatafoundry.com
- WebSocket connections on port 443
What are WebSockets?
The dashboard uses WebSocket technology to:
- Keep your session active
- Stream data updates in real-time
- Let you interact without refreshing the page
If WebSockets are blocked, you may see timeouts or “Disconnected” errors.
3) Browser cache and cookies
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
- Log back in and refresh the page.
